Jack’s diary was rather filled up with the General’s speech, but he finished it in the space allocated for 6th September.
But date muddle sets in as we see on the next spread.
Jack has told us that he didn’t do these things on these days. But we wonder if he actually moved to West Down Camp on 16th August. This is close enough to Market Lavington for brief trips back home.
